Ski and snowboarding trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Dinaric Alps are now available through wintersports travel specialists Iglu Ski
The two resorts in the Dinaric Alps, the venue for the Sarajevo 1984 Winter Olympics, are proving to be popular with skiers and snowboarders who are attracted by the novelty of the destination and the comparatively low cost of a holiday in snow covered mountains.
Forward bookings for next season 2023/24 are strong, and Iglu Ski’s Managing Director Simon McIntyre said: “It’s always good to offer a new country for skiing and boarding. Bosnia has attracted beginners and those looking for a new ski and snowboard destination. Most guests are family groups wanting mix-difficulty slopes and resort activities for all ages. We’re pleased to see some repeat bookings for next season, and lots of new enquiries coming through.”
Bosnia appeals to beginners and intermediate skiers, with lots of blue runs, fast lifts, and everything in close proximity.
