World’s top female snowboarders help The North Face design new Team Kit range

The North Face, as you may have guessed, was named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of the mountain.

In 1966 the two hiking enthusiasts opened their first tiny shop in San Francisco selling their own designs of mountaineering apparel and equipment. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength offering equipment to mountaineers, climbers, explorers, runners, skiers and snowboarders. read more
