Courmayeur in the Italian Alps is hosting a Family Easter Ski Week from 26 March to 2 April 2023 for children aged four to 13 years old.
The resort has partnered with Momentum Ski and UK-based children’s events company Archy Events to create a week-long programme based at the Hotel Pavillon, a family-run hotel situated in the village. The programme includes ski school and kids’ club and there is a large swimming pool and spa. Courmayeur is ideal for skiers and non-skiers with a wide range of activities, such as snowshoeing and fat biking.
The centre of the village is car-free offering shopping, world-renowned restaurants and bars, accommodation for all budgets and a lively après-ski scene. Highlights include the local Valle d’Aosta cuisine, local Mont Blanc wines, local produce and traditional, alpine dishes.
Hotel Pavillon is close to the ski lifts with 50 guestrooms, and the restaurant serves traditional cuisine. The Scuola Sci Monte Bianco – ski school – as well as representatives from Archy Events will provide group ski lessons to all children, including a supervised lunch as well as activities throughout the day and in the evening.
Families can start their day at the ski school followed by lunch and then on to games and activities in and around the Kinderheim (the area where children up to 12 years are looked after) until late afternoon. Tuesday and Thursdays will be dedicated to a ‘party night’, including T-shirt tie-dye making or talent shows.
Prices at the Hotel Pavillon, including airport transfers, start from £898 per adult and £598 per child based on a family of four sharing a family suite for seven nights’ half board. The kids’ holiday club is £685 per child for five days, including ski school, and two evenings of child care.
