Ongoing snowfall in the French Alps is leading to a late surge in bookings for the rest of the season, according to UK tour operators.
https://aiohealthpro.com/wvdt03984 After a spell of dry weather, there have been recent heavy snowfalls across many resorts in the western Alps, especially France, providing a good base for the next few weeks and going into Easter. The snow has followed by blue skies and spring-like temperatures, creating ideal conditions for many French resorts.
Laura Hazell, Marketing Director at catered chalet specialist, Ski Beat, said: “The snow has been falling for the last week. Conditions are fantastic right now and we are getting excellent feedback from clients in resort. The season is far from over, with spring being one of the most amazing times to ski. Lift queues are shorter and days are longer. Many resorts put on events and festivities in the run up to Easter. There is a good snow base and snow is still falling.”

The vast majority of lifts were open and skiers were able to cross over to the Italian resort of La Thuille for more excellent conditions.
