Spring skiing and snowboarding is in full swing with longer days, warmer temperatures and fresh snow still falling. Across Vail Resorts owned and operated mountains, 21 resorts are still open across the West, Rockies, East and Europe.
“Spring skiing is here!” said Nadia Guerriero, SVP of the Rockies Region, Vail Resorts. “The energy and vibe of skiing and riding in the spring is like nothing else, and conditions are incredible this year. We’re celebrating at our resorts with packed line-ups of spring events, tons of lively après options, and fun new experiences for our guests.”
“We’ve made investments in low-energy snowmaking across our resorts, which unlocks more days on the mountain for skiers and riders, and more consistent conditions, both in the early season and in the spring,” Guerriero continued. Across the Rocky Mountain region, Vail Resorts has invested more than $100 million in improved, energy-efficient snowmaking since 2015, which has increased the average season length by 12 days over the past three seasons.
