As part of its initiative to Get Brits Skiing, Ski Beat has introduced two new Toe in the Snow beginners’ weeks for rusty or first-time skiers. Ski Beat’s Laura Hazell explains: “Skiing is often shrouded in mystery for those who didn’t take family ski holidays as children. Around 1.5 million Brits ski annually, but the number could be much higher.
“As a nation, we are far more health and fitness orientated than at any time in the past. Skiing is an excellent way to exercise both mind and body, while eating healthily and enjoying pure, fresh mountain air, in good company.”
This winter Ski Beat, the UK’s top ski chalet package company to France, has dedicated two weeks specifically to helping Brits Get Skiing, with Toe in the Snow holidays departing on 22 March and 12 April 2025.
Laura says: “We offer a full service to advise newcomers, pre book lessons and ski equipment, before leaving the UK, as well as offering advice on what to wear and what to pack. On arrival, our chalet hosts, all of them experienced skiers, will point guests in the right direction for their ski lessons, give them advice on the best areas to try out their new skills, learn how to read a lift map, and where to find the best bars and mountain restaurants.”
Ski Beat’s Toe in the Snow weeks cost from £842pp, for a week’s stay in the stylish Chalet Perdrix, high in the French Alps, in the beginner-friendly resort of La Rosiere, departing 12 April 2025. The price includes a private chalet host to prepare cooked breakfast, afternoon tea with home-made cakes, freshly prepared three-course meals with wine, as well as return flights and transfers.
Ski Beat has been taking British skiers to France’s high altitude resorts for nearly four decades and are introducing the new beginners’ weeks for the first time this season.
