Snow sports brand Oneskee has secured a £250,000 funding boost which will help fund the company’s exciting plans for 2020 and beyond.
Oneskee received the investment from venture capital firm Midven in a deal that will allow the clothing firm to grow its distribution network. It will also see a range of new products launched like some of the examples featured here.
Oneskee, based in Leamington Spa, was formed in 2014 by brothers Scott and Josh Clifford. They believed fashion on the mountains needed freshening up and liked the idea of onesies built for the snow, so set about designing suits based on this concept.
Now, five years on, the siblings are selling their products online in over 50 countries. The company has grown quickly and now specialises in selling signature one-piece snow suits.
The brothers say this latest cash injection will help Oneskee become a world-recognised snow sports brand. They were supported in securing the investment by Harper James Solicitors, a law firm specialising in affordable and accessible legal services for startups and early growth businesses.
The deal was facilitated by Adam Kudryl, Corporate Partner at Harper James Solicitors. He said: “We are really pleased to have helped Oneskee to secure this fantastic investment from Midven. Supporting small businesses in achieving their expansion goals is one of our key aims as a firm, so it was a pleasure to pull out the stops for Oneskee and make this investment happen.”
Oneskee teams up with La Folie Douce
Oneskee’s Winter 2019/2020 range includes the ‘Original Pro’ which the company says offers the perfect balance between style, comfort and performance. The latest design is a hybrid which merges the most popular suits of previous years; with a refreshed update for the season.
Designed to cater to a new generation of fashion-conscious skiers and snowboarders, the ‘Original Pro’ is available in a selection of contemporary colour-ways for both men and women. From eye-catching orange to bold snow leopard print, the suits are also equipped with a host of technical features – from the essential 10k/10k performance fabric, to the trademark après internal braces, lycra inner cuffs, two-way main zipper.
Oneskee’s new collection also features a brand new casual product aptly named the ‘Aprèskee’. This casual jumpsuit is ideal for everyday lounging and after-slope festivities – made from an eco-friendly recycled WP fabric to keep you warm and dry. Other products of note include the popular waterproof hoodies, that are perfect for those bluebird days on and off piste – no jacket required.
2020 will see further growth for the brand, with an exciting collaboration with après bar La Folie Douce. The partnership will see Oneskee produce a special collaborative range only available in La Folie Douce stores, with staff across the original Val d’Isère & brand new Les Arcs venues donning their unique collection.
