Peak Retreats, the French Alps ski specialist, is offering a new concept to help its clients break up their self-drive journeys to and from the French Alps. Adding to their range of en-route hotels, the ‘en-route escapes’ concept allows skiers to explore more of France on their way to or from their ski holiday.
Each accommodation has been selected to offer a true sense of escapism while being located a short drive from the main routes between Calais and the Alps.
Vine Dining: Peak Retreats’ new experience includes vineyard hotels in world-famous wine regions such as Burgundy and Champagne. These allow guests to enjoy wine-tasting and dining experiences, in hand-picked hotels, creating memorable experiences for Peak Retreats’ clients to enjoy while journeying to and from the Alps.

Loisium Wine & Spa Hotel, Champagne: Residing in Mutigny, in the famous Champagne region, the Loisium Hotel is ideally located halfway between Reims and Chalons en Champagne. This stylish modern concept hotel creates a fusion of wine, design, spa and gastronomy. The hotel has facilities including a champagne and wine bar, a brasserie with open kitchen and magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards, an on-site spa with year-round heated outdoor pool, sauna and in-spa champagne bar.
