Raccoon Media Group, the company behind The National Snow Show Birmingham, has announced that it is launching National Snow Week and The London Snow Show in partnership with Evening Standard Live in 2023.
Raccoon Media Group is working with Evening Standard Live, the events division of the Evening Standard, to bring the existing Birmingham event plus the two new offerings to the UK Snowsports calendar.
National Snow Week 2023 will begin with the third edition of National Snow Show Birmingham at the NEC, Birmingham on 14–15 October, and this will be followed a week later by the new London Snow Show at the Excel, London on 22-23 October.
The organisers claim that the National Snow Show Birmingham has attracted more than 23,000 visitors over the last two years. The London Snow Show will mirror the Birmingham event by offering a mix of retail, content and interactive features to snowsports enthusiasts.
The Skier & Snowboarder has agreed to extend its partnership with Raccoon Media Group as a media partner for the shows.

In the past there have been major ski and snowboard shows in many different locations including Scotland, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton, Milton Keynes, Southampton. The Daily Mail and the Daily Telegraph also supported London shows at Earls Court, Olympia, the Barbican and more recently Battersea Park.
There have been announcements of a revival of a ski and snowboard festival in Battersea Park. In December 2021 the Smart Group, which was behind the plans, held a preview evening and set a date for 27th – 30th October, 2022.
A later announcement by the organisers then confirmed the show was being postponed until 2023.
It is not yet known if the Smart Group intend to go ahead following the recent announcement by Raccoon.
