Skiing is often seen as being a group trip or family activity but Friendship Travel is providing sociable solo-ski trips for avid skiers who don’t have a travel buddy or partner to shred the slopes with.
Looking ahead to early 2025, Friendship Travel has three trips taking place. Taking the hard work out of ski trip planning, solo skiers can choose from two classic French chalets in Les Deux Alps or Alpe d’Huez or visit Scandinavia and stay in a traditional Norwegian hotel in the picturesque resort of Trysil.
Friendship Travel takes the stress out of planning a ski holiday with chalet accommodation provided and ski passes and meals arranged all week.
With ski trips for all abilities, both French trips offer half-day lessons throughout the week, whilst the Norway excursion allows you to ski alone or with fellow travellers.
All hotels and chalets are on a half board basis. With the chalet ‘house party’ style, guests can sit together for an evening meal in the comfort of their own chalet or head out for après.
Friendship Travel also provide a host at the guest’s disposal who has a wealth of knowledge on both resorts to provide tips and recommendations.

Set high in the picturesque Dauphine region, Les Deux Alpes is a popular and lively resort with over 200km of pistes to explore. Boasting an impressive snow record and plenty of sunshine, skiers and snowboarders can take in the scenery with blue-bird powder days and groomed pistes, from nursery slopes to back country and glacial ski runs. The chalets are quaint and cosy with rustic styling, perfect for relaxing with new found friends after a fun-filled day on the slopes.
VAUJANY, ALPE D’HUEZ, FRANCE

Friendship Travel guests will have access to the luxurious Chalet Saskia. With open plan spaces, a games room, hot tub and sauna, this chalet makes for the perfect house-party ambiance. Chalet Saskia is a luxury offering, exclusive to Friendship Travel, set in the picture-postcard location on the south-facing, sun-drenched slopes of Vaujany.
The friendly ski week includes group lessons on five mornings, making this ski holiday a perfect option for beginners and intermediates. Advanced ski lessons are also available. After ski school, the group meets for lunch (own expense) before putting new skills into practice during an afternoon on the slopes.
RADISON BLU RESORT, TRYSIL, NORWAY

Considered a skiing paradise by many and a haven from the busy resorts elsewhere in Europe, Norway is renowned for its incredible snow conditions, providing fresh powder most of the season. Trysil is Norway’s largest ski resort and offers a variety of terrain, suitable for beginners and advanced skiers. The resort also boasts a variety of winter activities and experiences both on and off the slopes.
Friendship Travel takes care of all the planning, and can arrange ski passes and lessons, alongside cosy accommodation including most meals.
Staying at the Radisson Blue Resort, guests will enjoy this ski-in/ski-out hotel which provides beautiful alpine views across snowcapped mountains.
