The new organisers of the The London Ski & Snowboard Festival are inviting visitors to escape to the mountains in the heart of the capital this October (27th – 30th).
Smart Group, a hospitality and creative event specialist, is promising the four-day festival will bring together resorts, fashion, the latest equipment and technology, Team GB athletes, and entertainment for winter sports fans and families of all ages and experience levels.
The entertainment includes performances by professional ski and snowboard athletes on a 140ft ski jump and a chance to sample alpine street food. There will also be an après-ski party.
The festival venue is Evolution London in Battersea Park, the scene of previous ski and snowboard festivals. The dates coincide with the half term school holiday and the organisers say there will be plenty of entertainment for children. The dedicated entertainment area Bundle Tumble will feature interactive activities, and kids can show off their best moves in the Parkour Arena with the help of top instructors.
Smart Group is aiming to attract more than 120 exhibitors and over 200 brands. Tickets are available for Avant (daytime 11-5pm), or Après (evening 5pm – 10.30pm), or all day.
